A buried and secret world of forests, seas and root mountains, stretching for miles beyond the cavernous horizon. At first glance, the sky of this dark world must have been several hundred meters above the ground. A sky covered with amoebai, these strange translucent plants in the shape of a star, whose extremities were sometimes covered with bioluminescent stinging hairs. Plants which were much less luminous than real stars, which did not make it easy to observe the buried continent. Because of this, Belenor did not know if what he saw was a ruined city nestled between two mountainous roots, or a simple illusion fantasized by his imagination…

-Le cœur du Fyros s’emballa alors qu’il se hâtait en direction de son ami. Qu’avait-il découvert ? Lorsqu’il arriva à son niveau, Garius se décala sur la droite et fit signe à son camarade de passer sa tête dans la faille. Alors, le Fyros se mit sur la pointe des pieds. Et comme Garius, il fut frappé de stupeur par le paysage qui se dessinait devant lui. La caverne dans laquelle se trouvaient les deux Fyros, pourtant large de plusieurs centaines de mètres, n'avait aucune commune mesure avec celle qu’ils observaient désormais depuis leur fenêtre. Elle n’était qu’un grain de poussière collé au plafond d’une caverne aux dimensions continentales. Car c’était un véritable monde qui s’offrait aux yeux des deux Fyros. Un monde enfoui et secret, composé de forêts, de mers et de montagnes racinaires, s’étendant sur des kilomètres, au-delà de l’horizon caverneux. À première vue, le ciel de ce monde obscur devait se situer à plusieurs centaines de mètres du sol. Un ciel recouvert d’amoebai, ces étranges plantes translucides en forme d’étoiles, dont les extrémités étaient parfois recouvertes de poils urticants bioluminescents. Des plantes bien moins lumineuses que de vraies étoiles, ce qui ne rendait pas aisé l’observation du continent enfoui. De ce fait, Bélénor ne sut pas si ce qu'il aperçut alors était une ville en ruines nichée entre deux racines montagneuses, ou une simple illusion fantasmée par son imagination…

 Garius bafouilla quelque chose puis se tut. Son ami, fasciné par le panorama, ne remarqua pas qu’il s’était interrompu. Quelques secondes silencieuses s’écoulèrent, puis le colosse reprit :
